This Wednesday is the first Wednesday of the month of May, and that means the middle school and high school students will join together for an evening of games and a time of sharing with a guest speaker who is on staff at Eastridge. This month's guest is Josilyn Bell, our Early Childhood and Women's Ministry Director! We are so excited to hear her story and ask her ALL the questions.
On Sunday we'll be wrapping up our series on the story of Ruth. The last two weeks as we've gone through chapters 1 and 2, we've discussed how God works everything together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28), and what it looks like to seek His guidance and wisdom in difficult and/or confusing situations. We've also focused on learning to recognize God working in our day-to-day circumstances, and how God can also work through us when we are seeking him and are willing to do more than what is asked of us, taking that extra step to show His grace and kindness to others (1 Corinthians 10:31; Luke 17:7-10; 2 Thessalonians 3:13).
Spring Retreat is coming up fast! Make sure to register at eastridgechurch.org/youthretreat, and if you have any questions or are curious about scholarship availability, email Rommie or Christian.
Hello! Rommie here.
Thanks for visiting our brand-spankin-new weekly newsletter! I'm so excited to kick this thing off and I hope it will be a great resource to ALL of you (parents, students, volunteers, dogs and cats, robot vacuums, etc.) and put us on the same page about what is happening at The Ridge week-to-week.
This is our first post and I've got an EPIC Valentine's Day throwback for all y'all high school students who came to our Fancy-Pants potluck back in February. Enjoy!
